I enjoy receiving both The Triplicate and The Pilot. Even though some of the material is the same in both, there are enough differences between the two, focusing on either Del Norte County or Curry County, that makes having both delivered weekly, worth the price of two subscriptions.I've always been a fan and a believer in supporting local papers. The late, great, Herb Caen of the S.F. Chronicle had an occasional feature he called "The Picking of Nits,” where he would complain about insignificant problems that only he found annoying. Here's mine. Between the two papers, The Triplicate seems to sometimes print the crossword puzzle in smaller print making it more difficult for us old folks.
