C. Eugene “Gene” Brock, 85, of Boise, Idaho, passed away on 11/10/21, at his son’s home in Litchfield Park, AZ.Born 2/27/36, in Cassville, MO to Glen and W Bernice (Bryant) Brock, Gene married former Linda Mae Ross (Lovelock, NV) on 2/18/55. U of I honors Forestry graduate (‘61). Employed by the US Forest Service with duty stations in Lowman, ID; Carson City, NV; Cascade, ID; and Gasquet, CA where he retired as ranger (’90).Retired, Gene and Linda enjoyed volunteering with missionaries including Summer Institute of Linguistics, Wycliffe Bible Translators, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Mobile Missionary Assistance Program and working with his sons (Greg and Matt) on residential projects.Gene loved outdoors, hunting, fishing, traveling, bowling, writing, singing, sharing God’s Word, spending time with family & friends.
