Teresa Margo Copeland (Kent) was born January 29, 1959, in Crescent City, California. She spent most of her adult life in Crescent City before she moved to Sacramento California in 2002. Teresa went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 2, 2021. Teresa passed peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.Teresa was preceded in death by her mother and father Virginia Ridens and Warren Kent. She is survived by son, Shane Scott, daughter-in-law, Amy Scott, grandson, Preston Scott, and granddaughter, Siena Scott. She was passionate about her family and never missed a holiday gathering or sports event for her grandchildren. Teresa is also survived by brothers Ray Kent, Jerry Kent and Jack Thomas and nephews Warren Dale Kent, Brandon Calkins, Jackie Thomas, Joel Kent and niece Alisha Hernandez.Teresa’s wonderful companion for eight years was Robby Eldridge of West Sacramento. He and Teresa loved riding motorcycles, going to movies, and sharing dinners with family and her black and white Chihuahua, Dexter.Teresa loved the outdoors and while in Crescent could often be spotted at the beach looking for agates and collecting driftwood. She also enjoyed playing games such as Yahtzee and Dice and attending to her yard and garden.To honor Teresa, we hope the next time you stroll down Pebble Beach looking for unique pieces of art or planting flowers (like bachelors buttons), you think of her.
