Del Norte County Public Health in collaboration with Del Norte Community Health Center, Yurok Tribe Public Health and United Indian Health Services will be offering free flu and COVID-19 vaccine drive-thru clinics to all eligible residents, including the Pfizer booster.It is safe to take both the flu and COVID-19 vaccine at the same time. It is important to protect yourself and others from the flu and COVID-19 viruses. Although they are caused by different viruses, they share common symptoms, affect the respiratory system, are contagious, and can cause mild to severe illness.The vaccines will be provided on a drive-thru basis and no appointment is necessary. Face coverings are required for vaccination. Vaccines will come on a first-come, first served basis. Be sure to wear clothing that allows vaccination to your upper arm.
