Born on April 5, 1946 in Grampian, Pennsylvania into a family of 8 children to mother Julia Ann Hepburn (Updegraph), Garry Lee passed into heaven quietly in his sleep on October 12, 2021 in Portland, Or. He lived in Crescent, City, CA and served in the US Army in Fort Dixon, New Jersey and Germany. He worked in the logging industry as a Hook Tender in Alaska, Oregon, Washington and California. Garry enjoyed boxing, arm wrestling and football and was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was an avid reader, his favorite author being Louis LโAmour, was skilled at crossword puzzles and was always telling jokes. His heros were actors Randolph Scott and author and outdoorsman Jack OโConnor. Garry had a generous spirit and a laugh and personality that would rattle and light up a room. He was a loving father to his son and a devoted grandfather. He loved being a grandpa to his two grandchildren, bought them all their bicycles over the years and established and saved for their college funds. He will be missed and dearly remembered by his family.A service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Or. on Wednesday, October 27th at 1:00 pm. Flowers can be sent to Mt.
