On 08/10/21, age 81, Elbert S Allison, always Sam to us, passed away. The cause of death was fibroid lung disease, of years long duration and heart failure, not Covid related. He requested no services.His entire career was in the service to his country in one form or another; the US Naval Academy, the US Navy, the US Postal Service, US Air Traffic Control, and the Social Security Admin. A grad of Penn State Univ. and always described as an officer and a gentleman. He loved geography, collected star and topographic maps, classic movies, movies of Us history and its wars.He is survived by his wife, Barbara Allison, her children; Tony Anaya, April Helm, and Drew Anaya, their children and grandchildren. Also surviving; three cousins in Philadelphia.Cremation was handled by Lind Brother’s Funeral Home, Carmichael, CA.
