God took you home to prove to us , He only takes the bestGary passed away after battling cancer. He is survived by wife Bonnie Weaver, sons Robert E. Wheeler III, David D. Wheeler, John L.( J.L) Wheeler and daughter Charlotte (Charlie) Wallace and brother Arthur Lee Weaver, and many grandchildren and a few great grandchildren. Proceded in death by his parents Jesse and Belva Weaver.A life long resident of Del Norte (Klamath). He graduated from Klamath elementary school ‘58 and Del Norte high school ‘61. He served in the Navy after graduation and returned to Klamath where worked for the Trees of Mystery for 24 years until retirement. He was married for 44 years. He was the Scout leader of troop 32.Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and shooting pool. He was known for his red hat, his coffee in hand and always being willing to lend a helping hand.The family would especially like to thank Weirs mortuary and funeral home.As per Gary’s wish, there won’t be a funeral.
