She loved to sew, making blankets and scarves. She became the consummate seamstress, even making dresses and vests for the grandkids. She was always looking for the perfect hat to add to her collection. She loved to collect angel figurines and dolls. In Jessie’s later years, she was affectionately known as ‘Granny’. She would even introduce herself to someone new by saying, “just call me Granny!”Granny loved to party! She was always the best dressed with the best hair, but was not afraid to roll up her sleeves and help wherever she was needed. Granny loved all kinds of music but not just to listen- she had to dance! At many family events, Granny seemed to be on the dance floor for every song, dancing the night away. She will truly be missed, for her love and her kindness. She always welcomed everyone, making sure you were having a good time and had enough to eat.Jessie passed away on August 13, 2021 and is preceded in death by her parents Ramon & Aurelia Perez, Baby Brother Ventura, and her husband Humberto H.
