A Crescent City man suspected of unlawful sex with a minor has been arrested in Barstow.27-year-old Constancio Gutierrez-Pelayo fled the Crescent City area in late June after Crescent City Police officers tried to contact him for an interview, according to a June 23 press release from the CCPD.After he fled, police received conflicting reports about Gutierrez-Pelayo’s location, as some said he was camping in Curry County, Oregon, while others reported he was staying in Eureka.
