The Jr. California High School Rodeo Association recently completed the District 2 rodeo finals in Corning. (District 2 includes seven counties: Humboldt, Del Norte, Mendocino, Marin, Lake, Sonoma and Napa)All 10 of the Del Norte competitors earned award jackets for their performances during the 2021 rodeo season. Additionally, six of the members qualified for the California State Finals to be held in Red Bluff, from May 13-15. The following are the state qualifiers: Audrey Phillips (breakaway, goat tying and light rifle), Rylee DuBois (barrels and poles), Remmi Green (chutedogging and light rifle), McKinzie Frick (poles, barrels, breakaway and goat tying), Ethan Werner (bullriding, chutedogging and light rifle) and Carlee Rose Harper (barrels, goat tying and light rifle). googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('ad-1515727'); });
