Irene Betty Shelton, age 97, passed away April 13, 2021. She was born October 4, 1923 in Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Shelton, Sr. Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Her hands were always busy crocheting, needlepoint, making dolls and many other handcrafted gifts. She was an avid square dancer in earlier years. Irene enjoyed traveling to Laughlin, NV each spring for the Shelton family reunion. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. Irene is survived by her son, Carl William and wife Judi, daughter, Rhonda Kay and Norma Beth and husband Brad. Grandchildren, Scot, Alan, Timothy, Deanna, Kimberly, Rhonda, Jessica, Kalena, Katie, Laura and Faith. She had numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister in laws, daughter in law and so many others who loved her.A Celebration of Life will be planned for next Spring.
