I decided to get my shot because I felt like it was the best way to protect my family. I am getting married soon, and my fiancé and I are planning a small wedding with family, including my grandparents. To me, getting the shot was an opportunity to protect them, as well as my community.Getting my vaccine was fairly easy. I live in Del Norte County, so when public health here announced they were opening up vaccine availability for everyone older than 18, I jumped at the chance, and made an appointment on the Walgreens website. My appointment actually got moved up, and I got my shot at the Walgreens in Crescent City sooner than I expected.
