Mable Hiatt of Crescent City, California, died on Friday, April 9 2021 at the fabulous age of 99. Born in Gardena, CA, she was raised and spent about 56 years in southern California, moved to Paradise, CA for about 23 years, and spent the last 20 years in Crescent City. Mabel loved to travel and camp in the USA. She was an avid bowler until about the age of 80 and crocheted up a storm (with many family members having her blankets). She belonged to many clubs, the most recent being the Emblem Club (who did many civic activities). Living close to the ocean, she loved to go and watch the waves and feed the squirrels that gathered around the area. She was preceded in death by her husband Dick, son Lester and all her siblings. Mable is survived by her son David and his wife Annette, daughter Teri and husband Stace, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Redwood Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
