College of the Redwoods is holding an event to recognize its Del Norte Education Center is located in Tolowa Territory. The event will include the revealing of a new sign greeting guests to the campus and recognizing the campus is located in Tolowa Territory. The new welcome sign was constructed from a slab of 3’ x 4 1/2’ redwood by Jed Smith Redwood Burl Company of Crescent City. The event will take place on Thursday, April 7, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the CR Del Norte Education Center. Food and drink will be provided.
