On Sunday, March 14th, 2021, Robert Joseph Todd, loving husband and father passed away in Portland, Oregon at the age of 84.Bob was born on August 18, 1936, in San Diego, California to Aaron and Thelma Todd. In August 1962 he married Aida Eve Anderson and they raised two sons, Chris and Tristan. Bob served for 32 years as a National Park Service Ranger. Bob worked (and his family resided) in Big Bend National Park, Mount Rainier National Park, Lake Mead National Park, and Redwood National Park.It is hard to chronicle Bob’s lifetime of adventures. He packed a lot into his 84 years. He was a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Ballroom Dancer, Master Scuba Diver, Private Pilot, Forest Fire Fighter, EMT, Cancer Survivor, Skydiver, Sailor, Windsurfer, World Traveller, Cook and Baker, Vegetarian, Mountain Climber, Road Tripper, Downhill Skier, Nordic Skier, Marathoner, Golfer, Mountain Biker, Fisherman, Law Enforcement Officer, Arts Patron, Gardener, Weight Lifter, Cat T-Shirt Collector, Cat Lover, Dog Lover, Geologist, Serial Blood Donor, Gambler, and savvy Day Trader. Bob was known for his curiosity, intellect, infectious laughter, and his generosity.He was preceded in death by wife Aida, his father, Aaron, and his mother, Thelma. He was the last surviving brother of four, preceded by the deaths of Arthur, Aaron, and John. Bob is survived by his wife Rebecca, his three sons Jim, Chris and Tristan, his four grandchildren Jenna, Diego, Delia, and Mackenzie, and his stepchildren Michael and Michelle.A private online service is planned.
