Coast Central Credit Union announced it is currently accepting applications for its college scholarships, available to all high school seniors graduating this year from schools in Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties. Generally, up to 13 scholarships are awarded in the amount of $5,000 each, disbursed over a four-year period. Recipients are required to attend Humboldt State, Chico State, College of the Redwoods or Shasta College for at least the first two years.
