Shirley (Lay) Rogers was born July 18, 1953 in Great Falls, Montana to Pamela Haarhoff and Newman “Ed” Lay and entered into eternal life with our Lord Jesus on November 14, 2020.Shirley moved to Crescent City from Great Britain in 1964 and attended Crescent Elk and Del Norte High School. She moved to Southern California to attend college after high school but returned to Crescent City several years later and remained there until her passing.Shirley enjoyed crafting, collectibles, decorating, reading, listening to good music, and most of all, her family. She will be remembered for her loving kindness, creativity, strength, and sense of humor, as well as being a devoted mother and grandmother. While we will miss her terribly, we will honor her life by living ours with fond memories of times spent together in our hearts.Shirley is survived by her mother, Pamela Woods, daughter, Erica Lujan (Marco), grandsons, Marco Jr (Lyric), Arthur and Moses, great-grandsons, Marco III and Koah, and her grand-dog, Chubbs.Per Shirley’s request, no services will be held.
