Judy Mae James, 49, passed away on October 16, 2020 in Redding, California. She was a lifelong resident of Del Norte County and was born in Crescent City on June 16, 1971.Judy was a member of the Yurok Tribe. She was employed by UIHS for 15 years. Judy touched many lives and created bonds with most of them. She will be remembered as greeting all who entered with a genuine smile and positive energy who went above and beyond to help clients when possible.Judy enjoyed camping, beach combing, nature walks, softball, reading and singing. She enjoyed socializing and helping others emotionally and mentally.Judy is survived by her son Curtis James (Jessie) and grandchildren Ye’womey’y, Tohtet, Yuna, Yoki.
