Rick Page has a vision to pay tribute to fallen veterans and wants to share it with the public this weekend.Page, a Crescent City resident, said he’s been working on the idea for three years and now has a model he hopes propels it forward to a future full-sized project for city or Del Norte County.The model features a lighthouse, where visitors can pay respect inside and contribute biographical information of local veterans. The lighthouse is surrounded by five obelisks that pays tribute to each branch of the Armed Forces and U.S. Coast Guard.Page’s own father, Gerald Sr., was a veteran of the Korean War for the Marines.
