A record number of College of the Redwoods athletes have been named State All Academic Honorees for the 2019-20 academic year.Freshman volleyball athlete Paula Mello, a Del Norte High School graduate, was the only local athlete to make the list with a 3.861 grade point average and 29 units completed.Of the 25 students on the list, two accomplished this while participating in two sports — Grace Rosebrook (soccer and softball) and Juliana Ortega-Miranda (soccer and basketball). The previous high from CR was 17, which was accomplished in 2018-19.
