Beverly June McKay born on June 22, 1928 on the Staley Ranch halfway between Crescent City and Fort Dick, California to Albert E. and Maude L. McKay, and died on September 13, 2020 at Baldwin Health and Rehab in Baldwin, Kansas. Prior to this, she had been residing in Gardner, Kansas with her son.Beverly is survived by her sister, Bertie, her son, Don Smith and wife, Jill, her daughter, Reta Willis and husband, Arnie. She had grand-children; Tim and Tom Smith, Jeremy Willis and Jennifer Webster. She had 10 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Smith. Beverly was a well-known member of the Foursquare Church. She taught herself how to play the piano at age 13 while she was home sick with heart trouble. She played the piano and organ at the church for over 50 years.The service will be held in the Foursquare Church Gymnasium at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
