A free workshop to provide information about cannabis cultivation licensing in California and related topics will be held from 9-11 a.m. on July 22. The workshop is sponsored by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, California Department of Food and Agriculture’s CalCannabis Cultivation Licensing Division and State Water Resources Control Board are hosting a free online commercial cannabis cultivation permitting workshop. New and existing commercial cannabis cultivators and consultants may find the workshop of value. Those interested in attending can watch the webcast at video.calepa.ca.gov. No registration is required. CDFW will cover permitting, using the online notification system (EPIMS) and how to reduce environmental impacts. The water board will review the cannabis policy, permitting process and other important information. Other regulatory agencies will also present.
