Brycelynne Spitzner died April 11, 2020, in Crescent City. She was 87 years old. She was born in Goodland, Kansas, to Gordon and Charlotte Winchell. She attended grade school in Goodland and later the family moved to Southern California, then to Crescent City where she finished her education.She married Jack Spitzner in 1948 and had two children. They divorced in 1976. She later married Bill Leishman. They divorced 15 years later. Her working career was at the local telephone companies where she worked for about 30 years, first as a switchboard operator and then as chief operations manager until her retirement in 1982.She is survived by her daughter Dorothy (Dean) of Eagle Point, Oregon, and son Ron (Kay) of Crescent City.
