At 7:22 a.m., a report of a rolling tool box full of tools were stolen form the back of a work truck in the 600 block of U.S. Highway 101. At 7:35 a.m., a resident in the 2200 block of Northcrest Drive reported her neighbor was shooting off a firearm the night before. At 8:55 a.m., a report of two bikes stolen off the back of a vehicle in the 600 block of U.S. Highway 101. At 9:09 a.m., a report of a brush fire in the dunes off the 14600 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Smith River. At 9:25 a.m., a report that two bikes were stolen off two vehicles in the 1400 block of U.S. Highway 101. At 10:09 a.m., a bicycle was found at the harbor in the 100 block of Citizens Dock Road. At 12:13 p.m., a resident in the 1700 block of Railroad Avenue reported their mailbox was run over sometime overnight. At 2:48 p.m., a resident in 1600 block of Monroe Avenue reported his trailer was broken into and ransacked. At 4:48 p.m., reports of shots heard in the area of the 100 block of Hiouchi Drive in Hiouchi. At 5:51 p.m., a resident in the 300 block of L Street reported that he can not deal with his loneliness mechanism. At 6:36 p.m., reports of two juveniles putting fireworks in mailboxes at State and Waldo streets. At 9:04 p.m., a resident in the 18000 block of U.S. Highway 199 in Gasquet reported a known subject fired shots at her residence then sped off in a vehicle. At 10:09 p.m., a report of illegal fireworks in the area of Elk Valley Road and Iowa Street. Thursday, July 2: At 1:47 a.m., a resident in the 100 block of Klamath Boulevard reported subjects threw a firearm in his trash can. At 6:45 a.m., a report that someone spray painted on the side of a building in the 200 block of I Street. At 9:33 a.m., a report of a column of black smoke at Elk Valley Road and State Street. At 4:40 p.m., a report of a brush fire on Trinity Way in Klamath. At 4:49 p.m., a report of a cell phone and lap top stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Small Avenue. At 4:51 p.m., a report of an unknown subject that stole several hundreds of dollars of merchandise in the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 101. At 5:39 p.m., a resident in the 18000 block of U.S. Highway 101 reported that a subject drove by her home and fired shots into it again. At 5:54 p.m., a resident in the 300 block of Wyentae Street reported believing her dog was stolen. At 8:03 p.m., a report of two loud explosions in the 1800 block of Malone Road. At 9:02 p.m., a report of a structure fire at Norris and Myentae streets. At 9:32 p.m., a resident in the 100 block of Barker Street reported his neighbor’s roof was on fire. At 10:28 p.m., a report of illegal aerial fireworks in the 200 block of Maiden Lane. Friday, July 3: At 9:07 a.m., a report of a subject possibly finding a stolen dog in the 1500 block of Pebble Beach Drive. At 9:38 a.m., reports of an illegal campfire behind a motel in the 200 block of U.S. Highway 101. At 10:49 a.m., reports of a non-injury accident in the 900 block of Northcrest Drive. At 11:05 a.m., reports that a female subject stole items from a store in the 1100 block of 3rd Street and pushed the reporting person on the way out. At 12:29 p.m., a report of a lap top stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of U.S. Highway 101. At 2:36 p.m., reports of two subject stopped for shoplifting, with one in custody and another that fled the scene, at a store in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard. At 3:42 p.m., report of a motorcyclist down with unknown injuries in the 99900 block of U.S. Highway 199 in Gasquet. At 6:34 p.m., a report of a grass fire with a resident trying to extinguish it with a rake at U.S. Highway 101 and Fred Haight Drive. At 6:38 p.m., a subject reported seeing someone steal her bike and attempt to steal several others early in the morning in the 2000 block of U.S. Highway 199. At 6:42 p.m., a shoplifter was reported detained in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard. At 6:49 p.m., harbor security reported a child’s bicycle stolen in the 100 block of Starfish Way. At 9:07 p.m., a resident in the 200 bock of Ruchong Lane reported subjects are shooting live rounds over her residence. At 9:18 p.m., a report of illegal fireworks in the 100 block of Lela Street. At 9:39 p.m., multiple reports of aerial fireworks in the area of Movie Lane. At 10:49 p.m., reports of gunshots heard in the area of U.S. Highway 199 and Panther Flat. At 11:30 p.m., a report of a motor vehicle versus animal accident in the Hamilton and Inyo streets area. Saturday, July 4: At 12:15 a.m., an officer was flagged by a subject reporting losing his chihuahua in the 300 block of U.S. Highway 101. At 12:36 a.m., reports of aerial fireworks in the area of Lauff and Amador streets. At 3:24 a.m., reports of a possible vehicle theft in the 400 block of U.S. Highway 101. At 6:45 a.m., a report of the top of a power pole on fire in the 8300 block of Lower Lake Road in Fort Dick. At 9:30 a.m., a report of two bicycles stolen from a campground in the 4200 block of U.S. Highway 101. At 12:50 p.m., someone reported subjects pushed her out of her vehicle and took her cell phone and wallet in the 18100 block of U.S. Highway 101. At 4:27 p.m., a resident in the 2200 block of Harmony Lane reported catching a known subject trying to start a fire by her children’s room. At 5:22 p.m., a report of vehicle window busted out in the 2500 block of Old Mill Road. At 5:53 p.m., a report of a subject not paying for items from a store in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard and leaving in a vehicle. At 7:30 p.m., a report of a male subject riding on top of a vehicle and fell off receiving unknown injuries in the 300 block of Indian Road. At 9:50 p.m., a report of a trash fire in the 1100 block of Marshall Street. At 11:05 p.m., Crescent Fire Protection District requested law enforcement for an intoxicated subject who tried to ride on the back of a fire engine in the 9900 block of Whalers Island. At 11:22 p.m., a report of a pile of fireworks on fire near a trash can in a parking lot in the 1400 block of U.S. Highway 101. Sunday, July 5: At 1:43 a.m., a report of a brush fire in the 400 block of Pacific Avenue. At 11:26 a.m., a resident in the 2400 block of Kelly Avenue reported his neighbor’s goats are crying because his neighbor is starving them. At 11:43 a.m., a subject reported his ex forced her way into his motel room and assaulted him in the 600 block of L Street. At 12:29 p.m., a report of a possibly illegal burn in the 2200 block of Harmony Lane. At 1:37 p.m., a report of a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 1200 block of 6th Street. At 7:04 p.m., a cell phone was found on Glenn Street. At 8:24 p.m., a resident in the 300 block of Elk Valley Road reported his neighbor is throwing fire crackers at his dogs. At 8:48 p.m., a report of a female subject who left a store in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard with a large amount of cosmetics. At 8:59 p.m., a report that people are still lighting off fireworks in the 100 block of Downing Street. At 9:07 p.m., a report that people are still lighting off fireworks on Kerby Street. At 9:49 p.m., a report that someone is still lighting off aerial fireworks in the 1100 block of Murphy Avenue. Monday, July 6: At 12:50 a.m., a resident in the 1000 block of Condor Street reported people are lighting off fireworks in the area. At 4:33 a.m., a report of a small building fire in the 1300 block of Front Street. At 8:53 a.m., a report of an illegal burn in the 1400 block of Gasquet Flat Road in Gasquet. At 11:51 a.m., a drivers license was found in the 900 block of Sunset Circle. At 3:36 p.m., a report of a wallet stolen from a vehicle the previous day on Murphy Street. At 6:41 p.m., a stray dog was caught in the 1500 block of Parkway Drive. At 9:20 p.m., a report of fireworks still occurring at Tewer Valley Park. At 9:20 p.m., a report of fireworks still occurring at Fred Haight Drive and Wilson Avenue. At 10:55 p.m., a report a wallet was stolen on the 4th of July in the 100 block of Citizens Dock Road. At 11:06 p.m., a subject reported a bear was on the beach while they were setting off fireworks, the bear charged them, they got away, but a male subject was sleeping on the beach. Tuesday, July 7: At 12:38 a.m., a report of a male subject going through trash cans at 10th and H streets. At 2:21 a.m., a report of a male subject going through the trash in the 800 block of A Street. At 3:20 a.m., a report of a vehicle on its side in the 6100 block of Lower Lake Road in Fort Dick. At 4:45 a.m., a resident in the 200 block of King Street reported her father’s car has been stolen and her daughter is missing. At 10:08 a.m., a report of two bicycles stolen off the back of a vehicle in the 200 block of U.S. Highway 101. At 10:15 a.m., a resident in the 100 block of Condor Street reported receiving a scam call from someone claiming to be her grandson, stating he was in trouble and needed money. At 12:06 p.m., reports of subjects that stole several items from a store in the 700 block of L Street and took off running. At 3:13 p.m., reports of a vehicle that dumped a bunch of items at the dump in the 1700 block of State Street then took off without paying. At 4:50 p.m., reports of a subject driving in reverse and running a stop sign at Harding Street and Northcrest Drive then continuing to drive in reverse up the road. At 5:33 p.m., overheard on an open 911 line were several subjects screaming then a female subject heard saying, “Throw it back. It’s still alive.” At 5:38 p.m., report of subjects illegally camping in a parking lot in the 100 block of Price Mall. At 7:16 p.m., a female subject reported her car was broken into at Enderts Beach and two laptops and hiking gear were stolen. At 8:31 p.m., a resident in the 6800 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Fort Dick reported someone is shooting guns in the area. At 8:56 p.m., a report of a male subject who shot a weapon at another subject in the 2400 block of Cushing Avenue.
