Four new positive COVID-19 cases were reported in Del Norte County today, bringing the total number of active cases to six, according to data available from the county’s public health department.The new cases were identified through contact tracing and all are self-isolating at home. One previously reported case is still hospitalized, but recovering.The health department reports a total of 55 confirmed cases since testing for the virus began of 2,625 total cases. There have been no deaths related to the virus.Of the 55 cases, 40 (73%) had contact to a known case and 15 cases (27%) are attributed to community transmission.
