Milton Owen Reilley, 77, passed away on June 26, 2020 in Crescent City, CA. He was born in San Diego, CA on September 28, 1942. The Reilley family moved to Del Norte County in 2005 from Southern California.Milton was a proud veteran having served with the US Coast Guard from 1962 to 1966. He enjoyed the water and especially loved his year in Hawaii with the Coast Guard. He was immensely proud of his long line of dedicated family members serving our country. Milton, his children and grandchildren proudly served. He has a grandson currently serving.Milton retired from Pennzoil after 37 years as Chief Chemist. He then began to serve the communities he lived in as a mobile Notary doing this for 18 years. After retirement, he dedicated his life to spending time with his grandchildren. He helped coach the teams they played for, taught them to drive and was engaged in all they did as well as attending every function they were involved with. He will be remembered by many as Santa Claus, spending over 50 year playing the roll. Milton was a selfless man who gave back.He is survived by his wife Donna Reilley of 58 years of Crescent City; daughter Kelley Rollans and husband Scott; Grandson Bentley of San Diego; son Casey Reilley; grandchildren, Elisabeth, Chase, Christian and wife Jenn and Liam; brother David Reilley all of Crescent City. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Sparkles.The family request contributions be made in Milton’s memory to the Wounded Warriors Project.Private family services will be held in Crescent City. His burial will be at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, CA.
