The Crescent City Police Department is investigating a hit and run property damage case that left a gas pump damaged beyond repair Monday at the Chevon located at 315 U.S. Highway 101. Police Chief Richard Griffin confirmed to The Triplicate a report of the incident was taken by the CCPD night shift. He said the investigation is ongoing and a security tape is being reviewed. Van Alyea said her manager looked at video footage and found that there were at least two witnesses to the incident.
