The Smart Business Resource Center is coming to Del Norte County in July. Funded by the Department of Labor, EDD, local entities and in partnership with local Workforce Development Board NoRTEC, Smart is an America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) provider and has provided workforce and career services to businesses and individuals in the Northstate for more than 40 years. Smart will be partnering with the Del Norte Workforce Center at their job center in Crescent City, offering computers, internet, workshops and comprehensive career and business services. “The Del Norte Workforce Center has done an excellent job of providing quality programming and services to the community,” said Smart Executive Director Wendy Zanotelli. “We are excited to partner with them to provide additional funding and support that will create even more positive economic and career outcomes for businesses and individuals here. Many of our valued partners that we work with in Humboldt County are the same providers that service Del Norte County, so this service expansion just made a lot of sense for us.
