Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness (DNACA) is offering two free arts classes for veterans, active military and their family members. A creative writing class with Sharon McKinney will be offered on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. beginning July 8 through Aug. 26. The class will cover elements of the short story, dialogue, character development, editing, and more. Notebooks and writing utensils provided, or bring your own. A pencil drawing class with Sarah Broderick will be offered on Thursdays, at 4 p.m. from July 9 through Aug. 6. Class will conclude with the Veterans Art Show on Aug. 13.
