Ed E. Moon, a.k.a., the Vacuum, of Crescent City, CA passed away suddenly at his home on May 10, 2020. He was preceded in death by his Father Russel Moon, his Mother Loree Kemmerer and a younger brother Michael Moon. He is survived by his loving wife Marsha Coburn-Moon, his son Jason Moon (Tina), two younger brothers, Jeff Moon and Chris Moon, Step-daughters Laura Coburn and Michelle Scott, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandson.Ed was born on March 29, 1952, and a 1970 graduate of Del Norte High School where he excelled in sports, but his true passion was fishing. He was a guide on the Smith and Klamath Rivers in California, the Chetco and Rogue Rivers in Oregon, and the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers in Alaska for many years.Ed made Del Norte County his home for nearly all of his life. He loved his fishing, his family, and the little coastal town of Crescent City. He will be missed.Graveside services will be held on June 8, 2020, at 1 PM at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Crescent City.
