Del Norte County Director of Animal Control Justin Riggs reminds pet owners that the licensing period for 2020 was Dec. 1, 2019, through Feb. 3, 2020. To offer some relief for the monetary issues associated with the COVID-19 shutdowns, Riggs said those who may have a delinquent license will not be sent to collections this year.In most cases, formal letters notifying individuals of license delinquency have not been mailed out.
