A motorcyclist and his passenger were involved in a high-speed crash on Highway 199 Monday, requiring medical evacuation.According to the California Highway Patrol, Tyler Ray Gentry and his passenger Montana Bell were driving northbound on U.S. Highway 199 south of mile post 26.50. At about 5:35 p.m., Gentry was traveling too fast to maneuver his Suzuki DL-650 through a sharp left-hand curve, causing the motorcycle to travel in an easterly direction and collide into the guardrail, according to CHP. After the impact with the guardrail, Gentry and Bell were ejected from the motorcycle.Emergency personnel arrived on scene and began providing medical assistance to Gentry and Bell.
