Michael (Mike) Mervin Winn, age 60, passed away Sunday May 10, 2020. He was born on May 17, 1959, in Le Grande, Oregon. He lived most of his life in northern CA and the Oregon Coast. He moved to be closer to his son in Brookings, OR in 2019 and was there for a year prior to his passing. Mike was the son of Melvin and Gerrie Winn and had 4 sisters Wanda, Jan, Debbie, and Julie as well as a brother, Steve.Mike is survived by his sister; Julie, her husband Darryl, four children; Christopher and his wife Nicole, Jennifer and her husband Damien, Kamille, and Derick and his wife Ashly, nephews; Jarrod and Marcus, nieces; Jessica, Mariah, and Dakota, and six grandchildren; Austin, Cain, Mikey, Kaleb, Lillian, and Kaylee. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and other loving relatives.Mike graduated when he was 17 and he went on and married his first wife, Cynthia and had two children, then married his second wife Suzanne and had two more children. He was very passionate about culinary arts and worked for many years as a Chef. He was a country man, true to his Native Heritage; who loved living in the redwoods. Some of his greatest moments in life was playing the guitar with his brother Steve and later passed his skills on to his son and grandsons. Mike loved with the biggest heart and may we always know the strength of his love for us. He was very proud of his kids and always said they were his greatest achievements.A funeral will not be scheduled for Mike, at his request, but we will be holding a Celebration of Life at an upcoming date TBD where friends and family can gather and celebrate the life of our father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who love him.
