At 5:50 a.m. on Friday, Crescent City Fire and Rescue was dispatched to the area of Y-Liquors for a report of a fire in the parking lot area. The Fire Department was able to quickly extinguish the fire. Crescent City Police Department Officer Pearson responded to the incident and was able to determine that the fire was set intentionally. Thompson was interviewed and arrested for 451 PC, Arson. Thompson is being held in custody at the Del Norte County Jail.
