According to a Del Norte County Sheriff's Office post on its Facebook page Sunday, two people were found dead after receiving a report of a shooting.This morning at about 9:30 a.m. the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office responded to the 100 block of Turnbull Lane in Crescent City for a report of a shooting. Deputies arrived minutes later and secured the scene with the help of the California Highway Patrol.An adult male and an adult female, both in their 50s, were found deceased at the residence. Statements and evidence are indicating that the two deceased people forced their way into the residence along with their dog and assaulted the two people that were occupying the residence.No arrests have been made and the evidence will continue to be processed.
