The Facebook Live event will feature stories of Thompson's experiences filming the classic sci-fi movie in the Redwood Region, which was the prime location for the forest moon of Endor. Released in1983, the film was the final installment of the original Star Wars trilogy and cemented the region's redwood trees in film history.
