Del Norte County has its third confirmed positive COVID-19 case - a middle-age Crescent City man. The Del Norte Office of Emergency Services reported Sunday the man is home recovering in self quarantine.Health officials are investigating how the patient contracted the virus, said Del Norte County Sheriff’s Cmdr. Bill Steven, public information officer for Del Norte OES. Steven said the patient’s employer is aware of the positive test result. And according to according to a Del Norte County Public Health Facebook page, the patient’s contacts have also been notified and are self-quarantining at home.According to Del Norte County Public Health website, as of 9:44 a.m. Monday, a total of 314 tests have been administered in Del Norte County, 300 tests have returned negative and 11 are still pending.
