Tolowa Dunes Stewards seeks volunteers for the restoration of the Lake Earl estuary from noon to 4 p.m. March 1. Co-sponsored by Redwood Parks Conservancy and California Department of Fish and Wildlife, the group will be working directly adjacent to the beautiful estuary and ocean. Rain cancels the event. “Muck” boots are probably not needed.
