Residents are being reassured in the Crescent Fire Protection District that they are being contacted by a legitimate polling agency and are not being targeted by a scam.Anyone who receives a text or email that says the Crescent Fire Protection District is polling, and Chief Bill Gillespie’s name is attached, the fire district has hired a research firm that is conducting polling on behalf of the fire district.
