On February 3rd, Timothy Mitchell succumbed to brain cancer in the comfort of home with his devoted wife of 42 years by his side. He was a stubborn mule of a man, but he loved God and loved his family. He never hesitated to pull a stranger’s truck out of the snow or fill someone’s tank at the gas station just because they asked. Every year he looked forward to hunting season trips with his sons. Tim could fix nearly anything with electrical tape and a pair of snips. He loved tall glasses of milk with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and cheap diner food with his friends. He is survived by his mother, Eileen Mitchell, his wife, Donna Mitchell, and his 6 children and 10 grandchildren.A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 9 at 1pm at New Life Community Church (424 2nd St, Crescent City). There will be a potluck at the church starting at noon.
