Linda Lou Sisson died January 24th, 2020 after a short illness. Born in Canon City, Colorado Sept. 12, 1931 where she eventually met her future husband Edward during high school.Ed and Lynn were married in Canon City Dec. 24th, 1950 while Ed was on leave from his career in the Air Force. Lynn worked in administration for the Department of Defense for 30 yrs. They travelled extensively for 50+ years having many great adventures, eventually becoming full time RV’rs for over a decade, finally settling in Crescent City in 2010. Lynn was a gourmet cook as well as an enthusiastic and accomplished motorcyclist/water skier. She loved the water, reading and complex puzzles/crosswords. Lynn drank like a fish and cussed like a sailor. She had a wicked sense of humor and had no issue with telling people what she thought.She is survived by her loving husband Edward, her son Michael, daughter Pamela, granddaughter Michelle and great grandchildren Anastasia and Sabina.There will be no formal memorial and she did not want people to send flowers, but instead wished any money be donated to the Del Norte Animal Shelter in her honor.Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel.Please sign the family’s online guest book at wiersmortuary.com To plant a tree in memory of Linda Sisson as a living tribute, please visit Tribute Store. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('ad-1515727'); });
