The event recruits local artisans to donate handmade bowls, which are then sold at a soup dinner to raise money for local hunger-fighting organizations.Dinner guests offer a donation and then choose a handmade bowl to take home as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. We hope the community will join us in addressing hunger in Del Norte.”Empty Bowls is part of a multifaceted fundraising campaign to raise by the end of the year $25,000 for Pacific Pantry, Del Norte County’s only choice-food pantry.
