ELECTION 2020: Hendrick plans kickoff for supervisor bid

Kevin Hendrick said he will kick off his campaign for Del Norte County 5th District supervisor at a reception Dec. 15 at the Gallery of Arts and Culture, 175 H. St. in Crescent City.Hendrick is challenging incumbent Bob Berkowitz in the primary election March 3, 2020.“People are tired of the political shenanigans, which have polarized and disrupted the Board of Supervisors from making progress on our local needs and issues,” Hendrick said in a press release.“Although I am a Democrat, I have proven my ability to work cooperatively with Republicans, Democrats and others to achieve progress for the people of Del Norte County.
