A police spokesman said Jennifer Jill Edwards, 45, was arrested on child abuse charges after her 4-year-old foster child was flown to the University of California San Francisco Medical Center on Nov. 7 for a medical emergency. The Crescent City Police Department was alerted Nov. 8 and arrested Edwards on Nov. 15, said Police Chief Richard Griffin. “[There was] no danger anymore with the actual victim.
