Douglas Lynn Pyke, Age 70, was a lifelong resident of Crescent City, Ca. Doug passed away on October 10th, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Eureka, Ca. Doug and his twin brother Steve were born on August 24th, 1949 to Ernie and Nadine.Doug was a survivor of the 1964 Tsunami and enjoyed sharing his story. Doug along with his brother Steve loved the ocean. Thus, launching their career as commercial fisherman right out of high school. In Doug’s free time, he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, barbecuing and spending time with his family. And, if it was storming out you could find him walking the beaches looking for treasures.Doug is proceeded in death by his twin brother Steve Pyke, Parents Ernie (Mary Lou) Pyke and Nadine Miller. He is survived by his children Kristin Pyke (Thomas) of Crescent City and Christopher Pyke of Medford, Oregon.
