Howard W. Burke passed away on October 29, 2019 at the age of 81. He was born in El Monte, CA to Howard A. and Mary Burke on June 28, 1938. Howard grew up in San Fernando Valley, CA.His passion was airplanes. He joined the Army in the 1960’s and was in special forces in Viet Nam. His love for airplanes, motived his career in FFA inspecting landing gear in airplanes. He was a personal friend of Papy Boyenton and good friend Ken Osmond and many pilot friends. Howard worked with Civil Air Patrol and assisted with many rescues.He married the love of his life Thean Anderson in 1966 and they were blessed with daughter Marcia who passed at the age of 11 years. Howard and Thean spent the last years of their life together at Crescent City Nursing Home where Thean passed a few years ago.Howard was loved by all.
