Del Norte High School senior Danika Scott won the No. 1 singles Humboldt-Del Norte League Championship against Arcata, 6-2, 6-4, on Oct. 26.Senior Aliyah Rafalowski won the No. 2 championship, 6-2, 7-5.The championships were held in Fortuna.The Warriors are 8-2 on the season, with two make-up matches remaining: at home against St. Bernard on Thursday, and at Eureka on Nov. 5.The Warriors return to Fortuna on Friday to compete in the Humboldt-Del Norte Doubles Championship.Rafalowski and Emily Feeney will be competing as the No. 1 doubles team. Elizabeth Ward and Cynda Thao will compete as the No. 2 doubles team.And Monique Camerena will be competing on the No. 3 doubles team.
