Gabriel James Shafer, 43, born December 26, 1975, Crescent City, CA Gabriel loved his truck, motorcycles, hunting, fishing and his dog Wahini. His life was cut short on June 7, 1997 due to a motor vehicle accident. He spent the next 22 years fighting to get his life back. That fight ended on October 16, 2019. Proceeded in death by Grandpa Harlod Shafer, Grandpa Lloyd Meirndorf, Grandma Ruth Meirndorf, Uncle Doug Meirndorf, Aunt Carol Shafer, Aunt Gillian Hutchinson, Cousin Scott Halley, cousin Scott Whitney and his beloved dog Wahini. Leaves behind parents Bobby and Julie Shafer, brother Brandon Shafer, Grandma Wonda Shafer, Grandma Pamela Meirndorf, aunts and uncles Bobbie and Dick Halley, Allan Shafer, Alan Hutchinson, Chris and Judy Meirndorf, Curt and Teresa Shafer, Brenda Meirndorf, Connie Cox, Ed and Nancy Whitney, and special person to him Jenfider Cox Hondorff and numerous cousins.
