The National Weather Service has issued a Beach Hazards Statement in effect from 9 a.m. Thursday through Friday morning for Coastal Del Norte-Northern Humboldt Coast-Southwestern Humboldt-Mendocino Coast.A building long-period northwesterly swell will result in increasing surf heights on Thursday along with an increased threat of sneaker waves.
