On Sept. 30, the restaurant closed until Oct. 14, or maybe a bit later. Roy Tedsen, the shop’s manager, said he has contracted with First Service Plumbing and Heating to update the kitchen. They installed a new grease trap and will replace the kitchen’s floor with non-slip tiles for safety. Tedsen said he has managed the property for more than 20 years and has seen it in many forms – a taco shop, fish house, even a hamburger shack.
